Job Description
My client is seeking a facilities manager or an experienced maintenance administrator who has worked on a commercial portfolio.
The role involves a varied portfolio with properties across the Home Counties including, shops, offices, industrial etc...
An understanding of commercial leases would be valuable as would experience handling service charges as you will be the first responder for maintenance calls and need to make decisions around whose liability issues are.
All works ordered need to be recorded, purchase orders raised and there is a CRM system in place to record everything that relates to the portfolio.
In addition you will carry out visual inspections, report back, take meter readings and keep on top of SC arrears as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with tenants and contractors.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, has meticulous attention to detail and who collaborates well in a small team.
Mon-Fri 9am to 5:30pm (full time in office/on site)
Must drive and have your own vehicle.
Guildford location.
Salary fro £37,000 - £42,000 depending on experience
