Role: Embedded/Control Systems Engineer
Location: Surrey (5 days per week onsite)

Specialising on the Electrification on Electric Vehicles, my client are growing a team of engineers to help with next-generation Electric Vehicle solutions.
The company are a small, multi-skilled team of R&D professionals who utilise the latest technology to resolve the commercial problems surrounding current Electric Vehicles.
Embedded & Control Systems Engineer
The position involves joining a team of engineers across mechanical, electrical, battery and software at their innovation site. Due to the hands on nature of the work, my client requires someone to be onsite most of the time.
The position will suit someone who has previous experience working for an automotive start-up or small, collaborative team and who is confident working autonomously, who can problem solve and who is comfortable liaising with suppliers and customers.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years industry experience developing model based software (Simulink) for embedded software development
- Control theory
- CANbus interrogation and simulation tools
- HIL and MIL Testing
- Previous experience working with high voltage systems and architecture
