Job Description

We have partnered with a well-respected law firm and are seeking experienced Legal Secretary to join their Private Client team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing exceptional support.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive secretarial support to fee earners, including audio and copy typing of correspondence, legal documents, and forms.
Liaise with clients, updating them on progress and addressing any inquiries promptly.
Manage diaries and appointments for fee earners, ensuring effective time management.
Handle general administrative tasks, including photocopying, scanning, and filing of documents.
Open and close client files, ensuring all documentation is organized and accessible.
Input and manage data on the firm’s case management system.

Candidate Profile:

Proven experience as a Legal Secretary within a Private Client team is essential.
Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and speed.
Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage a busy workload effectively, together with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-focused approach.
Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks, ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management systems.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (with a one-hour lunch break).
