Job Description

We are a leading energy services company looking for an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse range of energy sector services, including lifting operations, equipment inspections, rope access work, and ATV services.

Team Leadership and Management

Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of skilled technicians, supervisors, and project managers.
Develop and implement comprehensive training programs, ensuring staff adhere to industry standards and safety regulations.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to encourage professional growth.

Project Oversight

Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Coordinate resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments to ensure smooth operations.

Safety and Compliance

Uphold strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Implement and maintain a robust safety management system, conducting regular safety audits and corrective actions when needed.

Client Relations

Act as the primary contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are met and they are satisfied with our services.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and prepare proposals.

Operational Excellence

Design and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure we maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum of 7 years in the energy services industry, with at least 3 years in a management role.
Deep understanding of lifting operations, equipment inspections, rope access, and ATV services.
Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations, including LOLER, PUWER, and IRATA.
Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and complex projects.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to work in diverse environments, including offshore platforms, wind farms, and industrial sites.
Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
