Job Description:
Team Role:
- Work within a team of experienced professionals to deliver innovative solutions and drive successful project outcomes.
- Become an essential part of the Building Surveying team working in a variety of sectors.
- Gain experience to enable you to become a Chartered Building Surveyor with KK!
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organisation.
Individual Duties:
- Assist BS team members of varying experience levels.
- Working in the office and on site
- Provide support to experienced BS staff to enable various building-related problems to be solved.
- Assist with the production of documentation (reports, specifications, tenders etc)
- Assist with effective communication
- Contract administration, valuation and certification including chairing meetings with associated document preparation.
- Manage project timelines, budgets and resources effectively.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, contractors and regulatory authorities.
- Inspect buildings to assess condition and recommend actions.
- Develop documents that meet project and industry standards.
Skills and Requirements:
- Keen interest in BS in the construction industry
- Great communication skills – written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Keen to begin APC journey
- Valid UK driving licence.
