Interim Headteacher (Specialist Provision)

Location: Exeter

Salary: Dependent on experience

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving school improvement?

We are seeking an experienced Interim Headteacher to lead a small Specialist Provision. The setting needs a transformative leader to take the school through a critical period of growth. This is a unique challenge to make a lasting difference by implementing strategic changes and tackling areas for development.

With fewer than 20 students, the school is dedicated to providing tailored support for young people (between the ages of 7 and 20) with complex SEMH needs.

Responsibilities:

Raising standards – Develop and implement strategies to improve teaching and learning across the school. Prepare the school for future inspections – Addressing areas identified for improvement.
Inspire, empower and upskill staff – Lead by example and promote a culture of high expectations.
Oversee the design and delivery of a tailored curriculum – Meeting the diverse needs of learners.
Ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding and inclusion
