The Recruitment Bunker are recruiting exclusively for a Senior Engineer – Interiors, who is experienced in using CAD (Catia V5) at a high level. Multi skilled engineers are encouraged to apply to work across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities
- Company Policies: Manage and follow the quality, health, safety, and welfare policies of the company
- To supply design/project support to the Lead Design Engineer in a multi-disciplined design team
- Lead and instruct Design Engineers in the company and customer defined design procedures.
- Support Graduates and Design Engineers with CAD skills and sound design principals to enable them to meet project defined targets
- Undertake projects and tasks to complete supported by junior colleagues
- Support the Lead Design Engineer to meet programme/project targets and will be expected to interface with suppliers and customers
- Liaise with CAE engineers
- Apply design and manufacturing techniques to ensure they can support on assigned projects.
Essential Skills
- HNC / Degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering subject
- Experience of design engineering within Interiors is essential
- Strong ability to use Catia V5 along with Microsoft packages
- Relevant experience in an Automotive Engineering Discipline i.e. Interiors/Exteriors, BIW, Tooling or Mechanisms. Other experience will be considered dependant on technical knowledge and relevant experience
- Must have the ability to work to instruction and integrate into a successful design team
- Must be prepared to work overtime when required to meet deadlines. The role may at times require travel to customer sites and work in co-located teams.

- Must have IDLR/Full Rights to Work in UK - Sponsorship or Work Permits will not be accepted/ provided.
Desirable Skills
- Working knowledge of GD&T and DFMEA process
- Launch support experience including relevant OEM procedures
- Innovative in design and a good communicator
