We are seeking an organised Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join our law firm near Southampton. The successful candidate will support our legal team, manage documents, and ensure smooth office operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist conveyancing attorneys with scheduling, correspondence, and maintaining efficient workflow
- Draft, proofread, and file legal documents
- Liaise with clients and provide case updates
- Prepare court filings and manage deadlines
- Coordinate meetings and hearings
- Support billing and timekeeping
- Maintain confidentiality
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a legal secretary, preferably in conveyancing (Residential or Commercial)
- Familiarity with Southampton’s legal system
- Strong communication, organisational, and tech skills
- Friendly demeanour for reception duties
