The Overhead Line Lead Design role at Keltbray will require the successful candidate to assist the Design Manager to ensure all design activities are completed to time, cost, quality and comply to all current standards.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Management of outsourced design activities
- Assist with tender reviews for schemes to ensure all requirements are met
- Planning and managing workload
- Liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders when required to ensure quality and standards / specifications are adhered to
- Taking responsibility for design deliverables
- Undertake / review and approve design studies and technical documents, drawings and calculations
- Attend site visits and meeting as required
- Actively drive safety by design and contribute to CDM requirements
- Ensure performance is in line with the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for on-time delivery, requirements management and right-first time
- Ensure design work is delivered to the expected quality and meeting KPI targets
- Ensure design work is delivered on-time as per the project timelines
Skills, experience and qualifications
- HNC/HND or equivalent is a minimum. BSc., BEng. or equivalent is desirable
- IEng or CEng chartership status is desirable
- Proficient in PLS design Software (PLS CADD and PLS Tower)
- Experience in using CAD tools an advantage
- 8+ years’ experience in OHL design
- Have a good understanding of CDM 2015
- Strong understanding of T&D interfaces such as HV Plant Cable design, Civil design
- Good written, verbal and communication skills
- IT literate in MS office applications
- Ability to solve problems within a multi-disciplinary team
