Job Description:
Proclinical is seeking a proactive and engaging HS&E Advisor to join our team. This role involves supporting our operations in Slough, Berkshire, and assisting with the transition to a new facility. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth transition of HSE programs and compliance, working closely with various stakeholders to maintain and implement HSE systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and update local HS&E procedures.
- Deliver local workshops to complement company procedures and policies.
- Coordinate and attend meetings representing HS&E systems and compliance.
- Support and undertake HS&E audits and assessments.
- Ensure regulatory licenses are maintained and relevant.
- Liaise with safety and environmental representatives.
- Support the risk management system, including facilitating risk assessments and reviewing control measures.
- Support the environmental management system, including managing the impacts and aspects register and targets.
- Support vigilance systems such as life-safety systems.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- NEBOSH Certificate minimum; IOSH accreditation at least at affiliate level.
- Preferably NEBOSH Diploma and/or Environmental qualification.
- Ideally, a degree or higher.
- Experience in a previous HSE role.
- Competent in providing management systems and a risk management approach to HS&E.
- Effective decision-making skills on the ‘shop floor’ and ability to escalate issues appropriately.
- Excellent communication skills, engaging and enthusiastic in promoting HS&E principles.
