Senior Architectural Technician / Senior CAD Technician – AutoCAD – Residential Projects – Part-Time or Full-Time
This boutique architectural design practice has exclusively appointed White Space Recruitment to recruit a Senior Technician / Senior CAD Technician with strong AutoCAD skills and ideally some job running experience working on a full-time or part-time basis (3, 4 or 5 days per week).
Working from their office in Hertfordshire, and potentially offering some hybrid options in the future, the successful Senior Technician / Senior CAD Technician will be providing full AutoCAD drawing support and commercial advice by spotting inefficiencies within designs and adding value to maximise the potential from scheme proposals.
The Senior Technician / Senior CAD Technician will be working in a small team of Architects & Consultants, engaging with Residential SME House Builders and Developers working on numerous projects to include exclusive residential developments of 4-20 houses, apartment blocks, historic renovations and large one-of high-end homes.
White Space is looking for an experienced Senior Technician / Senior CAD Technician with the energy, confidence, and ability to “take on projects and run with them”, without needing much supervision or guidance, someone who can engage with people on a human professional level and simply be trusted to deliver a good service to clients.
Senior Technicians / Senior CAD Technicians applying must have good proficiency in producing construction working drawings and details in AutoCAD 2D, and have a commercial mindset in knowing how to get the best value out of schemes. Ideally, we would like to see Senior Technicians / Senior CAD Technicians who have some previous experience of working for a house builder, developer or similar but this is not essential.
Ultimately this client is looking for someone to join on a long-term basis, however they are open minded about engaging with Senior Technicians / Senior CAD Technicians looking for contract, fixed term contract or permanent options either LTD, Sole Trader or PAYE.
£40,000 - £55,000 Depending on experience
