A great Head of People Operations role, working closely with the VP of HR at one of the world’s leading luxury travel brands.
With 55 offices worldwide, they are a business with teams of passionate and knowledgeable people, who can open doors to private palaces, book Michelin-starred meals in the most remote locations and arrange out-of-hours museum tours.
The HR team in the UK supports both centralised functions like Finance, Marketing, IT and also needs to work across multiple brands, and geographical regions, with a real focus on the 2 UK offices, the Italy offices and the Spain office.
The role would be based in London, but would need someone who is willing to travel to the other UK regional office on a regular basis (travel covered). This role will support by leading the function from a People/HR operational perspective, including managing the team. With responsibility across the UK and the European territories there is occasional travel in Europe.
With People/HR Partners reporting to this role, the individual will be the senior people partner across the UK and European business providing line management to the UK People/HR team and a point of escalation for the People/HR and management teams.
This role will oversee all aspects of people operations, from recruitment and talent development to compliance, culture and well-being.
As well as someone with sound HR knowledge, the role needs someone with business acumen, who understands finance principles as well as risk and reward, and understands how to use technology and People/HR tools and software to our advantage.
Industry knowledge and Workday knowledge would be an advantage.
