As a Category Assistant based in our Warwick office in our Infrastructure category team, 3 days a week, 2 days remote), you’ll be responsible for:
Support and manage the day-to-day administration and analytical requirements for the Category team.
Managing promotional and marketing material and deadlines, product file maintenance including product and pack creation and invoice clearance.
Working closely with the Category Manager and Senior Category Manager to provide regular updates on progress and support to the Category Management team.
Liaising with branches on resolving price queries, range changes, new product set up and feedback on quality
Liaising with suppliers to resolve operational issues on various queries and new suppliers to manage the onboarding process
And here’s what we’d like:
A graduate looking for their next opportunity OR Category/Buying experience is highly preferable
If not, commercial experience in a retail/trade environment
Data driven, good excel skills and problem-solving abilities
Strong attention to detail, able to work in a fast paced environment and to agreed deadlines
Good at building relationships, confident and resilent
