WHO THEY ARE AND WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR//
A leading WSL Football Club are currently seeking a Partnership Sales Manager to secure sponsorship deals for the club.
As more WSL teams start to separate their commercial partnerships from the men's teams, you will be part of building a dedicated commercial pipeline solely focused on the Women's team and increasing the club's partnership portfolio.
With limited rights tied up, you have the opportunity to approach a range of brands in different categories and create first-of-a-kind partnerships in Women's football.
They are looking for a sponsorship professional who has knowledge of the sports sponsorship industry, experience in securing sponsorship and knowledge of brands who may be interested in investing in the industry.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING//
- You will be tasked with securing sponsors for the sports organisation.
- Working closely with senior management, you will build and deliver a sales strategy for their events and tournaments.
- Working closely with the creative team, you'll deliver winning presentations and pitches to help secure sponsorship.
- You'll be responsible for developing and delivering key revenue targets.
- Attending network events and host at events to build your pipeline and database.
THE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU NEED//
- Previous experience in securing sponsorship in the sports industry
- Knowledge of sport sponsorship
- A proven track record in delivering commercial return through sponsorship
- Experience growing partnerships and retaining business
- Experienced networker
- A passion for sport
