First dedicated Pre-sales hire for this privately funded, innovative developer of containerised Private Mobile Network technology solutions. Our client, a small, scale up technology vendor, has deployed bespoke solutions globally to some of the most demanding and mission critical networks. With further investment in the productization of their solutions portfolio, they are now building their GTM team to scale and take advantage of their success and market demands.
This is the first dedicated Pre-sales hire so offers a lot of autonomy, influence and opportunity for the right individual to shape the position, process and potentially build a team, inputting into GTM strategies and customer engagement models.
Ideally, we are looking for –
- Experience in the Mobile Private Networks industry, in a technical customer/partner facing role.
- Detailed knowledge of 5G and/or 4G Mobile Private Networks, for RAN, Core (focus) and OSS elements.
- Experience of working with partner SIs and direct into industry verticals, e.g. Manufacturing, Defence, Logistics, Energy/Utilities, Maritime etc.
- Experience of setting up, or influencing change in Pre-sales processes, messaging, engagement models etc. desirable.
- Experience of wider ecosystem and solutions enabled by private networks such as AR/MR, Industry 4.0, and MCX/FWA.
- Product and Customer oriented, with a high curiosity for Innovative solutions.
Responsibilities include –
- Technical point of contact for all pre-sales partner and customer engagements.
- Take ownership of technical company collateral which is partner/customer facing in conjunction with development teams.
- Support partner/customer trial and sandbox activities from a technical sales perspective.
- Build strong technical relationships with decision makers across partner and customer footprint.
- Design and value creation of private network enabled solutions for key customer verticals; military, industry 4.0, Transportation, Logistics etc.
- Identify technical opportunities for product, solution, and services sales across the portfolio.
- Designing/collaborating with partners/customers on complex networking solutions.
- Interface with and manage partners/customers in the solution life cycle.
- Support the technical response for RFI/RFQ/RFP as required.
