Sales VP, EMEA
Location: London, UK
Type: Hybrid (2-3 days per week in office)
Role Overview
We’re expanding our small sales team in the EMEA area and are seeking a hunter-mindset Sales VP to grow net new business completely in the middle market. You will not walk into a book of business. You will be responsible for bringing on new DSPs, Agency and brand partners by selling managed services, programmatic deals, creative services, and programmatic curation.
You’ll play a pivotal role in our growth during our 2nd year operating on the ground in the EMEA. You’ll help us refine our messaging, materials, and packaging to meet client needs within the Connected TV (CTV) space. You’ll maximize revenue opportunities from prospective buyers and also ensure that those partners are receiving mutually beneficial value and service from our team.
This role will constantly evolve, just as the world of programmatic advertising does. You’ll attend in-person local and national events and conferences to understand the latest trends. You’ll constantly search for new and innovative ways to serve our brand and agency partners while bringing your personal touch and style to the relationships.
What You’ll Do
Develop a strong, specific, strategic pipeline of DSPs, agency and brand accounts. Show consistent and accurate forecasting skills when regularly presenting new business opportunities to Executive leadership.
- Conduct high-impact meetings with prospects and clients. Have a large appetite to learn your client’s business like it’s your own.
- Maintain excellent records, document everything, and come prepared to meetings with sales updates.
- Become a trusted advisor to your prospects and clients, building relationships both up and across their organization.
- Develop winning strategies and proposals, collaborate closely with internal teams, and adjust sales tactics to meet evolving market demands.
- We are a startup, and you’ll need to ideate, create, and deliver your proposals. Account management will support you, but this will be critical in the first year.
- Work collaboratively with your analysis and operations teams in India to support your prospective clients better.
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of experience in Ad Tech/Programmatic sales must have experience selling CTV
- A strong network of contacts at Hold Co and Independent agencies. Strong ideas on how to make an immediate revenue impact.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree (Masters or MBA) preferred.
- Track record of consistently meeting/exceeding new business and revenue targets.
- Have met $5m+ yearly revenue targets.
- Deep knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem, programmatic technology, and a specific understanding of the essential parts related to Connected TV. Demonstrate technical aptitude for programmatic supply chain expertise.
