Salary: £37,318.00 (additional shift allowance of 33% may be applicable)

What you’ll be doing:
\n
- \n
- Welding different materials (carbon & stainless steel & aluminium)\n
- Welding using different welding processes i.e., Manual Metal Arc, Metal Active Gas, Metal Inert Gas, Automatic & Semi-Automatic Machine Welding (Submerged – Arc & KAT) & Resistance Welding (Stud Welding)\n
- Welding butts and fillets to a high standard\n
- Main process – FCAW / MAG – using ceramic tiles\n
- Self-verification on all welds\n
- Adhering to all SHE related standards associated with welding, including fume control\n
\n
Your skills and experiences:
\n
- \n
- Modern Apprenticeship certificate also known as Trade Papers (you will be required to provide papers)\n
- Ceramic Tile Welding Knowledge \n
- Knowledge and experience in Welding and use of associated equipment\n
- Flux core arc welding experience \n
- Deposit welds that pass both visual and NDE examinations\n
- Materials experience of welding carbon steel thickness 4-10mm range\n
- Clear understanding of SHE and Risk Assessment awareness\n
- Background in major construction / manufacturing environment\n
- Welding with MCAW consumables\n
- Welding aluminium with MIG process\n
- Welding with automated equipment\n
\n
