Responsibilities
• Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to deadlines and within budget, ensuring all aspects of the project are delivered effectively.
• Lead and motivate a team of engineers, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring the team's performance meets or exceeds expectations.
• Apply your deep technical knowledge to solve complex engineering problems, provide technical guidance to the team, and make informed decisions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, communicating project updates, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Identify project risks, develop risk mitigation plans, and proactively address potential issues to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain high standards of quality throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that all deliverables meet the required specifications and industry standards.
• Efficiently allocate and manage resources, to optimize productivity and achieve project goals.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, and technical specifications.
• Evaluate project processes and performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide feedback to Managers on project related issues including progress, scope, budget, resources and risk management.
• Identify and qualify new opportunities and/or capability gaps from within the customer; relaying them back to Management to enable further growth.
• Been able to work as part of a transnational team to support project and client needs.
Required skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• High level stakeholder management with excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities
• Systems engineering expertise; particularly involving Requirements Management (DOORS), Integration, Verification & Validation
• Process optimisation and organisational skills
• Planning and reporting experience
• Proven experience in project management within the engineering sector; minimum 3 years practise of leading a team
• Proficiency in project management software & tools (PMP, PRINCE or relevant certification is a plus)
• Ability to support the delivery of large complex projects on time Akkodis

• Aerospace (Landing Gear Systems) environment background
