We're an ambitious team of almost 25 people across Simply Studios and Simply Social based in the UK & Ireland and not stopping there. We're growing fast and so we're looking for a social wizard 🧙♂️ who will help us continuously grow!
Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Social Media Strategist to join our team based out of London. As a key member of Simply Social, you will work with both new briefs and existing clients, creating and implementing innovative social media strategies that enhance brand awareness, engagement, and growth. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, the creative team, and other departments to deliver campaigns that exceed expectations
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing social media strategies: Create innovative, data-driven social media strategies tailored to the specific needs of new briefs and ongoing projects for existing clients.
- Campaign planning & execution: Plan, manage, and execute campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) while ensuring alignment with overall business and marketing objectives.
- Client management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their goals, providing regular updates, and delivering impactful insights and results.
- Content strategy & creative direction: Collaborate with the creative team to guide content development, ensuring it aligns with the brand voice and engages the target audience.
- Analytics & reporting: Monitor social media performance using analytics tools, and present key insights, campaign results, and recommendations to clients and internal teams.
- Trend analysis & innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and platform updates, and provide insights on how clients can leverage new opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (creative, paid media, and project management) to ensure smooth delivery of campaigns and cohesive strategies across channels.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in social media strategy, preferably in an agency environment.
- Proven track record of planning and executing successful social media campaigns.
- Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their best practices.
- Excellent client management and communication skills.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Proficiency in social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Google Analytics).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
- Experience working with paid media campaigns is a plus.
- Passion for staying ahead of social media trends and innovative strategies.
