Our client is a national retail business and they are seeking to recruit a commercial support/data administrator to work with their procurement and commercial supplier support team. The role is based in their Coventry HQ (Monday-Thursday) with occasional travel to national events.
Ideal candidates can come from any commercial support environment, with the following skills:
• Confident and organised multi-tasker and self-starter.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and commercial acumen.
• Microsoft Office and Excel (Pivot tables / Vlookup etc.) skills.
• Experienced data administrator.
• Project management capability with ability and flexibility to manage different activities.
Your role will include the following activities and detailed training support will be provided:
• Supplier data administration (e.g. contracts, pricelists, price increases and promotions).
• Support teams to ensure processes and projects are delivered.
• Issuing and analysing questionnaires.
• Data analysis to provide more in-depth negotiating support to buying teams.
• Meeting preparation and team briefing.
• Support accurate contract quality proof checking.
• Monitoring statistics / KPIs / savings measurement to track performance delivery.
• Produce reports.
