Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Manager at Ischebeck Titan in Burton Upon Trent.
The Production Manager will have day-to-day oversight of the operational teams within the assembly and storage facilities and working with the depot management and stock control functions to ensure availability of products that meet company standards and ensuring that customer expectations, both internally and externally, are met at all times.
The Production Manager is responsible for the technical management, supervision and control of all pre-assembly processes and activities prior to Ischebeck Titan’s product lines being despatched to construction sites.
Role Experience
- Previous experience of working in a fast-moving production / assembly / construction environment is essential.
- Demonstrable experience of managing stock, forecasting demand and making investment proposals.
- Previous experience of managing multi-disciplined teams
- Implementation of operational processes with a keen eye for improving quality and increasing efficiency
- Numeracy, literacy, clear written and verbal communication.
- Ability to read and understand engineering / manufacturing / fabrication drawings, ideally relating to large steel components
- Proficient in the use of IT packages (Outlook / Word / Excel)
Desirable experience but not essential
- Previous experience of undertaking off-site, pre-assembly of formwork & falsework products
- Previous experience of deploying / working with formwork & falsework systems on construction sites.
- Previous experience of steel erection / assembly
- Previous experience of working as a / with shuttering joiner / carpenter
- A recognised Health & Safety qualification / certification would be advantageous.
