Event Marketing Manager
About the Role: Our client, a leading content agency specializing in working with multiple professional membership body clients, is currently looking for an Event Marketing Manager who has a proven track record of achieving exceptional results in the marketing of paid events and conferences.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for conferences and awards
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns, including email marketing, organic and paid social, and media partnerships
- Create and manage the marketing calendar, ensuring the timely execution of campaigns
- Lead on ideas for marketing campaigns (e.g. balance of discounts/content-led approaches)
- Coordinate internal teams to produce promotional materials and collateral from ideation to design and delivery
- Write tailored copy for each channel
- Develop and manage marketing budgets
- Monitor expenditures and provide regular financial reports to Client engagement directors
- Work with events lead on pricing/discounts to support marketing activity
- Set targets and report on results and next steps
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using various metrics and KPIs
- Communicate and provide updates to Client engagement directors on performance against KPIs
- Provide post-event reports, summarizing performance and recommending improvement for future events
- Identify target audiences and target accordingly
- Lead on strategy for media partners – identify relevant partners and agree on collaboration
- Manage press and PR
Qualifications: Solid experience in B2B conference and awards marketing
Required Skills:
- Experience in most aspects of digital marketing, including CRM, email, mobile, social media, website, UX, search, and online advertising
- Adept at interpreting data
- Great copywriting
- Practiced in managing and implementing all aspects of the promotional mix
- Excellent stakeholder management
- A passion for marketing – strong experience of existing techniques and keen to explore new ones for the benefit of our clients
- The ability to manage a budget
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
- Self-motivated with good attention to detail
- Good sense of humor and the ability to put people at ease
- Highly organized and enthusiastic
- An enquiring and creative mind
Pay range and compensation package: Basic Salary Up £40,000 - £60,000 dependant on experience. Benefits including 25 Days Holiday, Healthcare Scheme & Social Events
