Position: Internal Sales Advisor
Location: Northern Ireland, Craigavon Area, Office based
Salary: Circa. £27,000-£30,000 basic + commission
Hours of work: Monday to Friday. 37.5 hours per week
Job Description
Working as part of our Sales Support team within the overall sales team, the right candidate will handle inward sales enquires and provide support to our external sales team. The role offers the opportunity to grow into a customer focused solutions led sales role to become an integrated member of the team to increase overall pro-active sales activity and team efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
· Answering and processing inbound calls and emails
· Analyse and distribute calls/emails/enquires accordingly
· Ensure customer enquires are handled in a timely manner
· Raise customer quotations in line with company pricing policy
· Upsell additional products and services where possible
· Liaise with external sales team and account managers to develop opportunities
· Lead generation with proactive outbound sales calls
· Develop good internal and customer relationships
· Utilise SAP CRM system to generate sales quotations
· Active follow up of all sales quotes.
· Maintain an up-to-date CRM system with regular customer updates
· Seamless interaction with sales orders team to process customers purchase orders
· Report into weekly sales meeting on current market trends and opportunities
· Provide regular feedback to management on quote numbers and opportunities
· Positive communication with all internal teams including service, technical, purchasing and finance.
Work Arrangements & Travel Requirements
· Office based, with some travel expected to other UK offices for training, etc. as required.
Requirements
· Passion for sales and a want to develop a career in a fast-paced environment.
· Clear communication, both written and verbal
· Ability to use Office IT functions such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.
· Experience working with an ERP type system (SAP business system would be preferable but not essential as full training will be provided.)
· Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Desirables
· Ability to read technical drawings
· Understanding of mechanical and/or electrical equipment
· Experience in online selling
· Knowledge of marine, industrial or construction industries
