Marketing & Communications Manager

This Leading Alternative Asset Manager are seeking a visionary Marketing & Communications Manager to lead their dynamic marketing initiatives in London. The role will see you collaborating with their Leadership, Investments & Sales & Distribution teams to drive brand growth and innovation. This is a little bit different and a role that needs you to be happy and motivated by not having everything set out for you. They operate a hybrid model - 2-3 days in the office per week. They want people to want to be in the office rather than focus on working at home. Ideally we are looking for candidates who are 'self-starters' are used to implementing ideas and carrying them through with minimal supervision.
Salary is commensurate with experience, the package includes base salary, bonus, and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.
Spearhead efforts to enhance brand, presence, and reputation in the investment management industry.
Manage online presence and multimedia strategy to engage stakeholders effectively.
Coordinate press releases and external communications, aligning messaging with brand values and regulatory requirements.
Champion the development of corporate assets, whitepapers, and thought leadership pieces.
Provide support to Investment teams in creating presentations and maintain consistent branding.
Identify PR and marketing opportunities to elevate brand presence.
Forge partnerships with conference organizers for speaking opportunities.
Essential Skills:
Minimum 10 years of marketing and communications experience, with a focus on brand development - ideally gained from an SME firm.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate brand identity effectively.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt strategies to market trends.
Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and measuring marketing effectiveness.
Strong writing and presentation skills, with an eye for design.
Experience in multimedia content production and project management.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, managing priorities effectively.
Experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships and budget optimization.
