Interim Demand Planning Manager ***Global Consumer Organisation***
Day rate: £450 + expenses (Inside IR35)
Initial contract duration of 3 Months with a strong possibility of extension
Location: Warwickshire (Hybrid working 2 days office based)
Our client, a global consumer organization, has recently completed an SAP integration, which has led to several short-term challenges in data migration, reporting, and process standardization. To address these issues, they are seeking an experienced Interim Demand Planning Manager for an initial 3-month engagement.
What will my accountabilities be?
This role is responsible for leading and advancing demand planning across volume, creation, and value dimensions in the short, medium, and long term. The role involves close collaboration with operations, commercial transformation, and finance teams to establish a best-in-class, data-driven forecasting process aimed at achieving 98% accuracy.
Working with a diverse range of internal stakeholders, from senior leadership to customer-facing sales and operational staff, the role requires a blend of strategic thinking and meticulous attention to detail. Additionally, it includes incorporating customer feedback by coaching sales and account management teams to maximize opportunities and drive efficiencies within the demand planning function.
Qualifications & Experience:
The ideal candidate holds a degree and has over 3 years of experience in a demand planning role within an established S&OP cycle.
They possess strong analytical skills, with experience handling large data sets and a proven ability to develop demand forecasting systems.
The candidate has a successful track record of leading cross-functional teams without direct line management, consistently meeting challenging targets and deadlines.
Strong communication, influencing, decision-making, and negotiation skills are essential. Additionally, they demonstrate strong financial awareness, effectively translating data insights into meaningful financial impact.
