Our bid team is essential to the success of our business and they guarantee our future workload. We are looking to grow our southern bid team and recruit a Proposals Coordinator to work mainly from our Southampton Office. As a Bid (Proposal) Coordinator, you will play a key role in our bidding process, ensuring the successful preparation and submission of high-quality pre-qualification and proposal documents.
Reporting to the Preconstruction Manager, key responsibilities:
- Pre-Qualification Submissions: Fully produce and manage pre-qualification submissions to meet client requirements and company standards.
- Bid Management: Receive bids, fully understand the requirements and deliverables, and coordinate the preparation process from start to finish.
- Team Coordination: Prepare and conduct question reviews with the bid team, identifying unique selling points (USPs) to enhance our proposals.
- Bid Writing: Take the lead in writing tailored bid responses for each project, ensuring clarity, compliance, and persuasiveness.
- Content Editing: Review and edit bid responses from the wider team to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with the overall bid strategy.
- Proposal Production: Produce complete proposal documents, including graphics, ensuring that they are professionally presented and meet client expectations.
- Submission Management: Take full responsibility for the successful completion and timely submission of all pre-qualification questionnaires and bids.
- Monthly Reporting: Prepare and present monthly reports on bid activities, tracking progress, and outcomes.
- Software Proficiency: Utilise InDesign and Acrobat software to create visually appealing and technically sound documents.
The ideal candidate:
- Experience in bids/ proposal roles or come from a graphics background with a passion for writing
- Knowledge of construction or a similar sector
- Strong coordination and able to work at pace
