JGA are partnered with a fantastic public sector company who are seeking a new Deputy Payroll & Pensions Manager to oversee their complex function.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall leadership, management, and performance of the payroll department.
- Growth of commercial payroll activity
- Lead and manage robust governance frameworks and arrangements
- Effective procedures and policies within the Payroll dept are met
- Providing specialist advice on payroll systems, procedures, and pensions
- Working closely with Finance Team and other Client management teams
- Working closely with other senior colleagues.
Skills required:
- Extensive NHS payroll experience essential
- Team management / shared service management experience
- Complex payroll knowledge
- Demonstrable ability to lead and guide a large payroll, pensions and benefits function.
