We are hiring for several positions to support Transaction Monitoring team to work with one of our key financial services clients. The roles include Business Analysts, Transaction Monitoring Analysts and Financial Crime SMEs.
About the role:
The Transaction Monitoring Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and analysing financial transactions to detect suspicious activities related to money laundering, fraud, and other financial crimes. The role involves reviewing flagged transactions, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations in the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor transactions for suspicious activities per AML regulations.
- Investigate and escalate alerts from monitoring systems.
- Analyse high-risk transactions and customers.
- Document and report findings to management and regulators.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to enhance monitoring frameworks.
SME Responsibilities:
- Oversee transaction monitoring processes and provide expert guidance.
- Analyse high-risk transactions to detect financial crimes.
- Improve transaction monitoring frameworks and systems.
- Ensure financial crime controls meet global regulatory standards.
- Lead investigations into complex financial crime cases.
- Advise on financial crime trends and regulatory updates.
