We’re working with a leading digital sports media company that’s reshaping the sports betting landscape by providing insightful content, betting tips, and transparent bookmaker information. They are on a mission to make betting more engaging and fair for users. As they expand their reach into the growing esports sector, they’re looking for a Senior Programmatic Integration Specialist to help drive this new vertical forward.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you'll take a hands-on approach to managing and optimising programmatic advertising strategies. You’ll be responsible for setting up and maintaining key technical integrations with SSPs (Supply Side Platforms), ensuring that ad placements are running smoothly and efficiently. Managing placement IDs, ad tags, and troubleshooting technical issues will be part of your day-to-day work. You’ll also be at the forefront of testing new ad technologies and formats, working closely with the development and product teams to ensure proper implementation.
Maximising Revenue and Optimising Campaigns
One of your main responsibilities will be to manage programmatic campaigns to ensure they’re driving revenue and yield. You’ll be analysing performance data to spot trends, opportunities, and areas where improvements can be made. By experimenting with new ad formats and targeting strategies, you’ll work to consistently improve campaign effectiveness and revenue generation.
Developing Strategies for Esports
As a key part of the team, you’ll be developing programmatic revenue strategies specifically tailored for the esports sector. This is a fast-paced and evolving industry, so staying ahead of emerging trends and new technologies will be essential to your success. You’ll also work on optimising monetisation techniques to ensure continued growth and innovation.
Building Partnerships and Managing Relationships
In this role, collaboration is key. You’ll be working closely with ad tech partners, DSPs, and SSPs to improve ad performance. Negotiating and managing relationships with programmatic buyers will also be part of your remit, ensuring that revenue opportunities are maximised.
Cross-Team Collaboration
To align programmatic initiatives with the broader goals of the company, you’ll work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams. Additionally, you’ll provide insights and recommendations to content and editorial teams to help optimise ad placements and improve the overall user experience.
Reporting and Analysis
You’ll be responsible for generating detailed reports on key metrics like revenue, fill rates, and CPM, using these insights to make strategic recommendations. Presenting findings to senior management will help drive future decision-making and programmatic strategies.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, or a related field, and solid experience in programmatic advertising with a focus on technical integration. Strong analytical skills are essential, and you’ll need to be comfortable interpreting data to make informed decisions. Great communication and negotiation skills will be vital, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple projects on the go.
