Purpose of the role
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will support the day to day running of the Downstream B2C Logistics, ensuring delivery time frames and SLA targets are met. You will monitor return deliveries while processing all related administration work as well as monitoring outbound and inbound orders.
You will be a key point of contact for the client services team, Private Client Management team as well as supporting other departments within the business.
Responsibilities
• Daily monitoring of B2C outbound and return shipments
• Manage and log B2C returns and actively communicate with customer service and production for QC final feedback
• Liaising daily with the 3PL warehouse to monitor timely operational processing, including travelling to Italy frequently to supervise operations
• Monitor Hold/Complete/Released orders in transit with Customs to ensure SLAs are met
• Manage orders encountering delivery issues, implementing solutions to ensure timely resolutions.
• Daily reporting to key internal stakeholders for both outbound and return shipments in transit and processing.
• Manage internal orders for the business, including personal orders and PR requests; inclusive of arranging special delivery services
• Responsible for maintaining and updating product catalogue to ensure full customs compliance, liaising with production departments
• Handle stock queries and delivery discrepancies
• Evaluate and improve internal processes and system functionality on a regular basis.
• Liaise and follow up with suppliers, freight forwarders and shipping lines to provide competitive shipping quotes
• Collaborate closely with the customer service and private client teams to streamline workflow and enhance overall efficiency.
• Compile all Shipping documentation and send to suppliers, freight forwarders as well as supporting with internal departments’ requirements
• Communicate with internal departments to understand priorities and schedule work accordingly • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise order management, shipping processes, and delivery timelines.
• Monitoring and logging carrier and freight forwarder costs
• Carry out ad hoc tasks as the business grows.
Qualifications, Skills, Experience Required
• Experience within the luxury fashion industry is ideal
• 2-3 years Logistics experience
• Knowledge of Incoterms
• Basic knowledge of customs clearance procedures
• Basic knowledge of excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver on multiple priorities
• Strong initiative, taking ownership of tasks and follow-through
• Passionate about work with a ‘can-do’ attitude
• Flexibility to travel to European warehouse
• Italian language is a plus
• Candidates must have the right to work in the UK
