Job Title: Site Supervisor
Location: Based in the South of England, with travel to various locations as required.
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

Job Summary:
We are currently recruiting a Site Supervisor to join our client’s Commissioning Team, with a focus on projects primarily located in the southern region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various tasks across multiple clean water projects, from initial surveys to final handover. This role involves coordinating site activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and leading a team to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with project teams to develop and execute commissioning plans, ensuring adherence to project schedules.
- Team Supervision: Oversee the commissioning team, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all engineering designs and installations meet industry standards, completing all relevant documentation such as Inspection and Test Plans.
- Problem Solving: Monitor project progress, address any issues promptly, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Client Interaction: Manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Site Management: Assume responsibility for site management tasks as needed, ensuring all activities are carried out in line with company policies.
- Continuous Improvement: Review completed projects with senior team members to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned in future projects.
- Team Collaboration: Conduct regular team meetings to provide updates on project progress and foster a collaborative, positive work environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
Essential:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the water industry, specifically in supervising construction sites related to water mains.
- Certifications:
- CSCS / SMSTS / SSSTS
- EUSR Water Hygiene and SHEA Water
- NRSWA Supervisor
- Experience with valve operations, including CALM Networks
- Technical Proficiency: Strong IT skills, including experience with GIS mapping tools, PDA/Tablet use, and online reporting software.
- Licenses: A full, clean UK driving license.
Desired:
- Certification in confined space entry.
- EUSR Hydrostatic Pressure Testing certification.
