This role will suit an experienced Strategy Director to join a newly established Global Strategy & Insights Team for a leading company in the Pet/Animal Health & Nutrition industry. This pivotal role will drive strategic initiatives, support global leadership, and ensure operational excellence.
As the Strategy Director you will collaborate closely with senior leaders across finance, operations, and market development. π±πΎ
π Key Responsibilities:
π‘ Competitive Intelligence:
Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, industry competitors, and innovative startups to maintain a competitive edge. Provide insights from market research, investor calls, and expert interviews.
πΌ Acquisitions & Ventures:
Lead the development of strategies for entering new markets and evaluate potential investment opportunities. Ensure acquisitions align with the companyβs growth goals and overall strategic objectives.
π Performance Management:
Work closely with the FP&A team to drive high-performance standards. Create detailed reports and strategy papers that help leadership identify growth opportunities and performance improvements.
π Global Strategic Projects:
Lead global initiatives such as market expansion, innovation strategies, supply chain improvements, and sustainability projects. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful execution and alignment with long-term business goals.
β¨ Experience:
10+ years in a leading strategy consultancy or strategic role within FMCG/CPG. Strong expertise in cross-functional leadership, global market strategy, and business operations.
π Analytical Skills:
Advanced quantitative and problem-solving abilities, capable of translating complex business challenges into clear, actionable insights.
π€ Leadership & Influence:
A proven ability to lead and inspire teams, driving change through influence and collaboration. Experience in managing strategic projects and working closely with senior leadership.
