Budget - Up to £80k basic & comp
Location - Notting Hill, London (min 4 days per week)

Our client is a London-based firm that provides M&A advisory services to SME and lower mid-market business owners. They are a boutique firm, focused on founder-led companies - connecting with entrepreneurs and fighting for the best possible outcome for them in selling their businesses.
They work with some of the largest private equity investors in the world and are constantly inspired by the entrepreneurs they represent.
Role Description
As an Account Executive, you will drive future growth by building and maintaining strategic relationships with UK based business owners.
To do this successfully, you will need excellent prospecting skills; natural curiosity to learn about different sectors; and the ability to connect with successful entrepreneurs.
Our client will invest time and energy into anyone that works with them. The ideal candidate will come from a Midmarket or Enterprise sales background or equivalent role in B2B sales. They do not require previous FS experience for this position.
This is an opportunity for someone that has been successful in their career to date and would be interested to cut their teeth in Corporate Finance, learning about Private Equity and M&A transactions.
Responsibilities
- Work with the partners to develop strategies for winning business with UK based business owners
- Lead outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities
- Manage commercial negotiations
- Manage the client relationship throughout the process
- Connect with business owners, understand their goals, and articulate different deal structures accordingly
- Work collaboratively with external partners (e.g. Private Equity, Law Firms, and Accountancies) to execute on complex deals
- Engage with cross functional teams (Partners, Deal Execution, Investor Relations) to help drive and iterate strategy
Qualifications
- 5+ years sales experience. This could be in Enterprise Sales, Business Development, or Solutions Sales
- Strong prospecting and qualifying skills - familiarity with MEDDICC or other relevant frameworks preferred
- Comfortable navigating complex, long term, sales cycles
- Strong communication skills and comfortable with C-Level stakeholders
- FS experience is not required
- Ability to learn subject matter very quickly
- Willingness to work in a fast paced environment and be outside your comfort zone
