Finance Change Lead

Salary c£115,000 + £5k car allowance + discretionary bonus + benefits

Altum Consulting has been retained by a highly successful, well-known global brand to find an experienced senior UK & Ireland Finance Change Lead to support their global Finance modernisation programme which includes the rollout of their new Finance ERP. Working with the UK&I and global change teams, you will be responsible for developing, owning and implementing the central change management strategy locally in the UK&I to maximize employee adoption and usage. Your focus will be on preparing, supporting, and equipping people to adopt and use changes to Finance business process, systems and technology, job roles, organization structures, and more. The goal of the Change Lead is to drive faster adoption, higher utilisation of changes, and proficiency with the changes that impact employee's daily work.
Key responsibilities
- Leverage the central Change Management methodology, process, and tools to create a local UK&I strategy and plan to support adoption of the changes required for stakeholders across the hierarchy
- Own the UK&I change management plan and its delivery, reporting on progress to senior leadership and managing a range of senior stakeholders
- Enable the design, development, delivery, and management of key communications
- Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders
- Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs (a training lead will report into you)
- Identify, analyse, and prepare risk mitigation tactics
- Evaluate and ensure user readiness
- Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
Essential experience and capabilities
- You will have led the creation and delivery of large Finance Transformation programmes ideally to an Oracle solution, from inception to delivery
- You will have a strong understanding of finance processes and terminology
- Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to succinctly articulate a complex topic to audiences who are not subject matter experts
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships, up to and including exec level
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
- Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
