Our client, an established law firm in Central London, are on the lookout for a confident and energetic individual to join their Business Services team in a full-time, office-based role as a General Office Assistant. You'll be working as part of a close-knit team, supporting the smooth running of their General Office and providing essential services across the firm.
Key Responsibilities:

Process and digitise legal documents (deeds, wills, files) before sending to storage.

Retrieve current deeds, files, and wills upon request.

Handle ad hoc tasks such as document binding, laminating, and retrieving confidential shredding sacks.

Deliver personal packages, refreshments, and stationery to various departments.

Maintain and manage the file destruction programme.

Categorise, scan, and distribute incoming post.

Arrange couriers (bike, van, international) and manage outgoing mail.

Assist with banking runs for the Finance team
About You:
-
Previous office experience is desirable.
-
Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented.
-
Able to multitask and work well within a team.
-
Strong interpersonal skills and a polite, helpful attitude.
The team operates 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, and the working hours for this role are from 9.15 am to 5.45 pm or 09.30 am to 6.00pm. Occasionally, you may need to cover the early shift or work overtime.
