My client is a market leader in Passive Fire Protection Services. With over 30 years’ experience, they pride themselves on providing a first-class service from initial consultation to completion of a contract, whilst ensuring that the most cost-effective work ethos and professional working relationship is maintained for their clients. They are members of some of the leading UK construction company supply chains, including Galliford Try, Balfour Beatty, Kier, Sisk, McLaren, Wates and Morgan Sindall. As these relationships continue, they are now receiving ever increasing repeat contracts spread across all corners of the UK.
Due to a period of growth, they’re looking to appoint a Project Manager to help spearhead projects across Southern England. Projects they cover typically range from £300k - £2Million.
The Role
Specialising in high-quality fire protection services, they are looking for a talented and experienced Project Manager to join their dynamic team. With projects spanning from tender stage through to handover, this is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in Fire Protection or Joinery to make a significant impact on their growing business. The role itself will be mostly client based, with a requirement to deal with drawings and implement changes when required.
Qualifications

Degree or relevant qualification in Construction Management, Fire Protection, or a related field is preferred.

Knowledge of fire safety regulations and passive fire protection systems is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee multiple Passive Fire Protection projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and excellent client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Review project drawings and technical specifications, making adjustments or implementing changes when required.

Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met and that any modifications to designs are executed efficiently.

Monitor project progress and performance, identifying any potential risks and mitigating them proactively.

Lead site meetings, ensure quality control, and enforce health and safety standards across all projects.

Ensure all documentation is kept up to date and accurate, including progress reports, variations, and handover documentation.

Collaborate with internal teams, including commercial and procurement departments, to ensure seamless project execution.
This is a Permanent Position offering a competitive salary plus package to the successful candidate (£65,000 - £75,000 + Package)
