Sales Administrator

Hours of Work: 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 4pm Friday
with 1-hour unpaid Lunch
We are working in partnership with an excellent Steel Stockholder who are recruiting for an experienced Sales Administrator/Account manager on a permanent basis.
Ideally you will have industry knowledge and be passionate and have excellent account manager experience.
The Role and Responsibilities.

Manage and maintaining customer accounts.

Manage and maintain customer stock profiles and back-to-back commitments.

Manage and maintain Sales contract orders.

Handling urgent calls, emails, and messages when sales representatives are unavailable.

Answer customer queries, informing them of delays and arranging delivery dates.

Check all orders received have the correct information (price, PO etc.)

Inputting orders, ensuring they are processed according to customer requirements, accurate and delivered in a timely manner.

Communicating with other departments to resolve any queries regarding production, transport, quality, or finance.

Face to face customer visits when required.

Supporting the sales department with other administrative tasks, if requested.

Monitor schedules to ensure all jobs are produced in time for the customers required delivery date.
Sales Account Manager requirements:
-
Customer centric with good interpersonal skills.
-
Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
-
Fluent and effective communication skills; written, verbal and electronic.

Good admin and organisational skills.
-
Creative and confident in finding solutions to everyday challenges.
-
Steel experience.
