The role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Tokenisation to lead our tokenisation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, deep understanding of blockchain technology, and experience in the financial services industry. This individual will monitor and follow existing venture investments, utilise the existing portfolio companies (120+) to explore tokenisation of “Real World Assets”. Originate, analyse and structure new venture investments, also through personal deal flow. This includes advising and consulting portfolio companies on Web3 and specific tokenization projects. Assist in the capital formation, liquidity capital raising for the tokenisation efforts including harnessing existing relationships with DeFi protocols.
Responsibilities
Project Management:
- Lead and manage tokenisation projects from concept to execution, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including technology, legal, compliance, and investment teams, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Technology Integration:
- Oversee the integration of blockchain and tokenisation technologies into existing systems and processes.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure robust and secure implementation of tokenisation solutions.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with tokenisation and blockchain technologies.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, regulators, and partners, to advocate for and explain tokenisation initiatives.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the progress and impact of tokenisation projects.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all tokenisation activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Work closely with the legal and compliance teams to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging the exploration of new ideas and approaches to tokenisation.
- Continuously evaluate and improve tokenisation processes and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
What excites us in a candidate
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments and alternative assets.
- Strong experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on alternative asset management and/or digital assets.
- Proven track record in project management, particularly in leading complex, cross-functional projects.
- Extensive experience with blockchain technology and tokenisation.
