JM Workforce Services are currently working with a well-respected and emerging Children's Social Care provider based in Leicester to recruit a Registered Children's Home Manager for a new service.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Registered Manager to lead a residential children’s home in Leicester. The Registered Manager will oversee the overall management and operation of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, fostering a positive culture, and providing strong leadership to the staff team.
Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of the residential children’s home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained.

Lead, inspire, and manage a dedicated team of staff, providing supervision, guidance, and support.

Develop and implement individual care and behaviour plans, along with risk assessments for each child, ensuring their needs are effectively met.

Maintain effective communication with children, families, external agencies, and professionals involved in their care.

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and safeguarding procedures.

Manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks efficiently.

Promote a positive and inclusive environment that values diversity and respects the rights of children and young people.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of service delivery, implementing improvements as necessary.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a residential children’s home setting.

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification) or working towards.

Sound knowledge of Ofsted legislation, regulations, and best practices in childcare.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and resolve complex issues effectively.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.

Strong deputies can be considered, but would need to be working towards a Level 5
Compensation and Benefits:

£55,000 - £65,000 doe
