We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our client's Fostering Team in South Wales. In this role, you will support foster carers and ensure the well-being of children in foster placements. Your work will involve assessing potential foster carers, supervising and supporting foster families, and ensuring all safeguarding standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and approve potential foster carers.
Provide supervision, support, and guidance to foster carers.
Ensure the safety and well-being of children in foster care.
Develop and review care plans, working closely with multi-agency teams.
Maintain accurate case records and documentation.
Participate in foster carer training and development.Qualifications:
Qualified social worker (BA/MA in Social Work).
Registration with Social Care Wales or equivalent.
Proven experience in fostering, child protection, or family support services.Contract Details:
6-month contract, 37 hours per week.
Hybrid working model: 3 days in the office, with flexibility to work from home.
Candidates must have a current DBS and be registered with Social Care Wales.Start Date: Immediate start required.
