Nexus Supply Chain Talent is proud to support a leading distribution business in finding an experienced and highly motivated General Manager for a new site opening in Birmingham.
The key responsibilities for the role of General Manager based in Birmingham will be:

Oversee daily warehousing and transport operations, ensuring efficient processes and standards are set.

Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, ensuring customer SLAs and KPIs are met.

Lead, motivate, and manage the team on site, ensuring high levels of engagement.

Drive a health & safety focused culture on site, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.

Manage the site's P&L, controlling and managing costs while meeting budgetary targets.
The successful candidate for the role of General Manager based in Birmingham will have:

Previous experience as a General Manager of a distribution centre.

Experience managing a high head count site is advantageous.
-
Experience managing a budget, alongside setting and managing budgets.

A track record of delivering strong KPIs.
The successful candidate for the role of General Manager based in Birmingham will receive:

A salary of up to £85,000 DOE.
-
A company car or car allowance.
-
25% bonus.
