THE COMPANY
An innovative global business with two composite production factories in the UK is actively looking for a Sales Support Coordinator to join their team based at their Stallingborough, N.E Lincolnshire site/office.
JOB PURPOSE
- To process orders and enquiries placed by external customers for sales of manufactured structural and gelcoat products and traded products.
- Managing availability of product to meet customer demand. Always meeting the date we confirm to the customer.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive sales orders from worldwide customers and implement processing procedures in order to confirm availability to customer and advise delivery dates.
- Raise Order in company SAP system, for planning.
- Liaise with customer, either confirming order delivery date or work to meet their requirements.
- Escalate to Customer Service Manager/Supply Chain Manager if required.
- Liaise with Transport Coordinator to organise transport.
- Ensure the correct flow of information from order receipt; order entry, product allocation, picking and despatch requirements through the company SAP ERP system.
- Ensure good links between Sales Order Processing, Production Planning and Transport sections of the business.
- Following customer complaints arrange collection and replacement products, relaying information to Tech service and Area Business Managers.
- Arrange delivery of customer sample requests including Health & Safety Data Sheets.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience within a fast-paced office environment.
- Exposure working within the FMCG sector (manufacturing, logistics, shipping etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised and efficient with good product knowledge.
- Strong IT / Systems skills such as Microsoft Office; Word, Excel.
- SAP experience desirable or similar.
- Very confident in business telephone communication.
