Overview
This is an opportunity for a Technical professional with M&S-facing experience to make a significant, positive contribution to a successful, growing business.
This is a hugely important role. By leading the site’s relationship with M&S, you will play a key role in maintaining a positive relationship with one of the company’s key customers.
The Role

To be the principal point of contact for the M&S team including hosting and accompanying customers on visits to the company’s sites and to supplier sites.

Ensure business alignment with customer requirements and expectations on quality, food safety legality, integrity and human rights.

Engage fully with customer account teams both internally and externally to formulate, communicate and implement customer technical agendas in line with business objectives.

Be instrumental in creating and maintaining technical policies in line with M&S policies and procedures.

Ensure customers’ specifications are accurate and up to date.

Communicate all aspects of M&S technical policy to internal teams and suppliers.

Use data to monitor and review performance.

Work with developers, buyers and others to formulate and deliver NPD which enhances business performance.

Provide support and cover for other members of the company’s technical team, including the Head of Technical.
