Facilities Administrator
Location: Toddington, Gloucestershire (DRIVING LICENCE REQUIRED)
Hours: Full time Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm, permanent
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced Administrator to join their team. The perfect candidate will have previous admin experience within a construction or landscaping business, trade counter, or facilities coordination.
Key Responsibilities of a Facilities Administrator
- Support the Estate Manager with day-to-day operations.
- Establish and nurture positive relationships with contractors, managing associated admin work.
- Handle the complete administration of facilities management.
- Embrace ad-hoc assignments from the Estate Manager with a positive attitude.
- Monitor supplier invoices closely, ensuring budget adherence and accuracy in coordination with the accounts team.
- Efficiently manage online supply purchases.
- Identify opportunities to enhance quality, streamline processes, and cut costs.
Key Skills of a Facilities Administrator
- Proactive and adaptable in your approach to work.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
- Experience in facilities management and working with contractors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, using common sense and initiative.
- Valid driving license required.
- High proficiency in IT, especially with Microsoft Outlook and Excel; Mac experience is a plus.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
