As part of our ambitious growth plans, we are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Business Development Manager to expand our market reach and drive new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:

New Business Development: Proactively identify, approach, and secure new business opportunities, with a focus on expanding market share in the meat industry and branching into pet food, bakery, and dairy sectors.

Client Acquisition: Form and nurture new business relationships with prospective clients, positioning our company as a market leader in portioning equipment.

Competitive Market Strategy: Actively target competitors' market share, leveraging your industry knowledge and sales expertise to convert clients from competitors.

Industry Outreach: Engage in proactive outreach efforts, attending industry events, networking, and meeting potential clients to drive business growth.

Client Meetings and Travel: Regularly travel to meet with prospective clients, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions to meet their operational requirements.

Remote Administrative Work: Manage all administrative duties remotely, including sales reporting, client communication, and follow-up.
Essential Requirements:

Proven track record in equipment sales, with a particular focus on portioning equipment.

In-depth knowledge of the meat or food processing industry is highly desired.

Demonstrated success in building new business relationships and opening new accounts.

Strong desire to succeed, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.

Willingness to travel frequently to meet prospective clients across various sectors.

Ability to attend the Milton Keynes office regularly during the first 3-6 months.
Desirable:

Experience or knowledge of the food manufacturing industry is highly favourable

Familiarity with competitive landscape and strategies to gain market share from competitors.

Experience selling capital machinery needed.
