Xact Placements have partnered with a successful Service Provider based in London (Nr. Liverpool Street) who are looking for a 3rd Line Support Engineer.
Main Duties of the Role

Providing support to clients on hosted and on premise IT systems

Troubleshooting, finding faults, resolving issues and monitoring alerts

Managing tickets in line with SLA’s
-
Carrying out maintenance on desktops, servers & network devices
-
Updating documentation when required

Visiting customer side to provide onsite support
Your Skills and Experience
-
Experience within a similar position, ideally within a MSP
-
Vast troubleshooting experience and solving IT incidents
-
Excellent networking knowledge
-
Solid experience in: Windows Server, VMWare, Hyper-V and Office 365

PowerShell scripting skills
-
Good understanding of backups (such as Veeam)
-
Competent in Windows and Linux environments
-
Fortinet experience is desirable
-
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-
Good understanding of ITIL
Salary
- £45,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience
