SALES SPECIALIST - MICROSOFT SURFACE - £80,000 – Initial 9M contract (could extend to 18M)
Hybrid working – 2-3 days office in Central London office
Our client is a global technology company and they are looking for a Sales Specialist with experience selling small devices, ie, laptops, i-pads to SMB’s or consumers.
Job role of the Sales Specialist
- As a Surface Seller, you will be responsible for driving Microsoft growth through new SMB customer acquisition by adding and activating new Surface customers and increasing the average deal size.
- Prospecting for new customers every day.
- Pitch and cross sell Surface+M365 Business Premium and support SMB sales teams in selling Surface to their end customers.
- You will be the subject matter expert for the end-to-end Surface customer journey and all applicable incentives and partner programs.
- Build and execute on a plan to achieve quarterly revenue targets and implement a Rhythm of Business with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify customer opportunities and co-selling offers.
- Evangelise the product and drive awareness of programs, campaigns and offers.
- Develop and execute an SMB new customer acquisition sales plan for the Surface portfolio.
- Identify and profile M365/0365 customers for cross sell into Surface.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
Who/what are we looking for?
- Proven sales experience in the SMB segment, preferably in the IT industry.
- 3-5 year experience selling small; devices, ie laptops etc to SME's or consumers
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for technology and customer satisfaction.
