Job Title: Finance Assistant (Part-time, 4 days/week – Temporary Maternity Cover)

Role Overview
Main Purpose:
Our client, a well-established company in the Audio-Visual sector, is looking to recruit a versatile and enthusiastic Finance Assistant. The successful candidate will be expected to manage a range of tasks in a busy finance department and provide support to the Finance Team, ensuring deadlines are met. Adaptability and the ability to handle multiple tasks are essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Process supplier invoices against purchase orders and post them accurately to the ledger

Conduct monthly supplier statement reconciliations

Prepare and send invoices for house accounts

Perform bank reconciliations
-
Process expenses
-
Manage credit card processing
-
Administer the contract management system

Handle credit control for the SLA/License income stream

Provide cover for other team members during busy periods or absences

Demonstrate a proactive approach, investigating and resolving finance-related issues
Qualifications & Skills:

Experience with Sage 50 is required

Experience with Sage 200 is preferred

Strong proficiency in Excel

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Previous experience in a busy accounts department

AAT or relevant accounting qualification is an advantage
