We are looking for a hands-on and experienced Electrical Team Leader with a strong background in electronics and wiring, particularly in the context of camper vans or boats. The ideal candidate will be personable, easy-going, and capable of both working on the refits and managing a small team of skilled technicians. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring all refit projects are completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.

Work directly on camper van refits, specialising in electronics and wiring, ensuring all installations are safe, efficient, and meet customer specifications.

Joinery knowledge and the ability to scribe panels

Lead, manage, and mentor a small team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to help them develop their skills.

Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and ensure their requirements are met to the highest standard, maintaining strong relationships and delivering excellent customer service.

Coordinate and manage workshop schedules, ensuring effective workflow and resource allocation.

Implement and maintain health and safety protocols within the workshop environment.

Continuously seek to improve workshop processes and procedures, driving quality and efficiency.
Key Requirements:

Strong background in electronics and wiring, with specific experience in camper van or boat refitting.

Proven experience in a workshop management or supervisory role, ideally within a similar environment.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
