CREDIT CONTROL MANAGER
Exeter, Permanent, Full-Time office based,
Job Duties:
Managing the credit control function within the finance department
Overseeing the credit control team and ensuring efficient collection of outstanding debts
Developing and implementing credit control policies and procedures
Monitoring credit limits and terms of payment for customers
Reviewing and assessing credit applications
Resolving customer queries related to credit control
Preparing reports on the credit control performance
Collaborating with other departments to improve credit control processes
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit control or a similar role
Proven experience in managing a credit control team
Strong knowledge of credit control principles and practises
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficient in using financial software and MS Office applications
Working Conditions:
The Credit Control Manager will work in an office environment, leading a team and liaising with various departments within the organisation. The role may require occasional overtime to meet deadlines and address urgent matters related to credit control
